Strident to carry Neetah Books list
Independent Scottish publisher Neetah Books is partnering with fellow independent Strident Publishing as it launches its list.
Neetah specialises in books by well-known Scots. Its first was Habbie to Jeely-Eater, the humorous and poignant autobiography of Alexandria-based minister Ian Miller, known, amongst other things, for officiating at the weddings of Rangers footballers despite being a Celtic fan.
On 26 October, at Glasgow’s Hard Rock Café, Neetah will launch The Godfather of Rock – the autobiography of Scottish DJ Tom Russell.
The new partnership with Strident will see Neetah’s books distributed by BookSource, making them available to all bookshops and other book outlets.
Neetah’s Paul Murdoch said, “Ian Miller’s book has been incredibly successful and we know there will be a lot of demand for Tom’s book – he has a loyal following and it contains some great insights into rock stars past and present. This partnership will make it easy for bookshops and other outlets to stock the books as most already source much of their stock through BookSource.
