It’s the festival’s second year, with Cumbernauld Theatre (between Glasgow and Stirling, 1 minute from the M80) again hosting. Tickets are available as of NOW. Go to www.YayYA.co.uk for further details.
Yay! YA is an entire festival squeezed into a single day. It’s designed specifically for secondary school pupils (and their keen librarians/teachers). It’s fast-paced – the innovative format sees 8 authors presenting in various parts of the theatre, sometimes simultaneously.
If last year is anything to go by, Yay! YA+ 2016 will leave a lot of teenagers a) delighted and b) wanting more.
