Lee and the Consul Mutants, Keith’s first hilarious adventure novel, was published in 2004. It grabbed the no.1 spot in The Herald’s Children’s Bestsellers chart, at the same time as his second novel, Lee Goes For Gold, took the no.4 slot. 2007 brought the launch of Lee’s Holiday Showdown and 2010 saw Lee on the Dark Side of the Moon blasting off.

Keith presents at schools and book festivals throughout the UK and Ireland, describing his sessions as ‘stand-up literature – funny and educational’.

He counts two sets of twins among his five children. He recounts regularly…just to be sure he’s got that right.
